Welcome to the Mohammed School Consortium of Richmond Weekend School. Welcome
to an institution! Come and be
at ease that what we Insha’Allah intend to do is educate in agreement with what was revealed to the universal Prophet
Muhammad (Prayers and peace be upon him). The Mohammed Schools represent our contribution
as indigenous Muslims to the establishment of Islam and Islamic institutions in the United States and are a nationwide effort
that have evolved and grown since the 1930’s.
Insha’Allah our educational goal is to assist practical application of Quranic knowledge
to our daily lives and thereby provide an Islamic basis for enriching community, social and moral life. The Weekend Program also offers young people the opportunity to network with other Muslims and in doing
so develop new relationships that are healthy and productive for Islamic growth.
The weekend classes are every Sunday from 10 am to 12 pm at 1202 Oak Street in Richmond, Virginia.
We are open to students aged 7 to 17 years of age who are not currently enrolled in a full time Islamic school.
All Muslim Students are welcome to come and be at ease with this effort. We pray Allah,
